Because seminar size is limited and sufficient time is necessary to contact persons on the waiting list, seminar fees may only be refunded if notice, in writing or by email, is received thirty (30) calendar days prior to the start date of a seminar by the person charged with seminar registration. Refunds may be subject to a $5 processing fee.
Seminar registration closes 30 days in advance of the seminar start date. You must pre-register and pay in advance in order to attend a seminar. Seminars are subject to cancellation or date changes at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
OTCPBC does not offer partial refunds, transfers of monies from one seminar to another, or from a seminar to a class.

Tricks Titling Day
Sunday, May 7, 2017 @ 9 am
Levels: Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced.
You will love this new AKC titling event! For dogs and handlers of all levels. In Novice, you may use a food/toy lure to get the trick, and may use food/clicker to mark and reward. As if that weren’t encouraging enough, many of the “tricks” are skills we teach many dogs as we prepare them for the sports we enjoy. Check out the list of Novice tricks. You have to perform ten (10) to earn the title:
Balance beam (walk on low board a few inches off floor)
Bark on cue (“Speak”)
Crawl (dog on belly, crawls at least 5 feet)
Fetch it and give (ball, toy, etc- bring to handler, release)
Find it (find treat hidden under cup)
Get your ___________. (Leash, brush, name of toy)
Get in (gets in box)
Get on (gets on low platform or step – 4 paws)
Hand signals (down, sit, or come)
Hold (3 seconds)
Jump (thru a low hoop or over a low bar)
Kennel up (go in crate, stay in until released)
Kiss (point to cheek)
Paws up (2 front paws on low stool or step)
Push-ups (sit, down, sit, down, sit, down)
Spin in circle
Touch it (hand or target stick)
Tunnel (agility tunnel or child’s tunnel)
Option (up to 2 that handler may choose)
Please note that having a CGC reduces the number of Tricks required for Novice from 10 to 5.
Pricing for each title attempt is as follows:
Each title is sequential; you have to get one to qualify for the next one. Please email [email protected] if you’d like to volunteer.
NOTE FOR NOVICE PARTICIPANTS: If you earn the CGC prior to the Tricks Titling event, you only have to perform 5 (not 10) tricks. Our next CGC exam is scheduled for Monday, April 24, 2071.
